This business came at a point in my life when I was at a crossroads.  I’d become tired of the corporate world after 20+ years. They were good years, I just wanted to do something new.  I wanted something that was more fulfilling, fun, and creative.  It was important to me to find something that would give back to those who supported me over the years. My granddaughter asked me to help her create a personal gift for her mom.  In my search for personalizing gifts, I became interested in custom laser engraving.  I was fascinated by the variety of materials you can laser engrave and the endless options of phrases and images. I was like a kid in a candy store!  I jumped in and that’s how Heronwood Creations came to be.
